How to Get Companions

Companions follow you. They do not raise your stats, according to the Fandom page.
The API pass text says VIP companion [Mini Slime]. Fandom calls the same pet VIP Slime and says there are four companions, but the saved text only names three. I am not inventing the fourth name.
Named companions
Fandom says pets are immortal, do not pull aggro, and can be interacted with by other players. The page quotes a developer line that pets will not receive buffs.
